Amy Kaley Brand, DSW, LCSW, is a social worker for palliative medicine at Ochsner Health. Dr. Amy Kaley Brand is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is board-certified by the Louisiana State Board of Social Worker Examiners. She completed her Doctorate in Social Work as well as earning her MSW from Tulane University. Dr. Brand is currently an Adjunct Instructor at Tulane University School of Social Work. She has been on staff at Ochsner Medical Center since 2020. Dr. Brand specializes in Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine providing behavioral health services to individuals facing complex health conditions. Dr. Brand provides psychotherapy to both patients and their families in efforts to improve the quality of life and address the impact of physical conditions on mental health and the well-being of both the patient and the family. Her clinical expertise and interests include palliative medicine, geriatrics, chronic pain, hospice and grief.
