Dr. Blair Barton, MD, FACS, is a surgical oncologist with a focus in head and neck surgery at Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Barton's expertise is in the management of complex sinonasal disorders including benign and malignant tumors involving the nose, sinuses and skull base, pituitary tumors, encephaloceles and cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea. Dr. Barton received his medical degree from The University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina, in 2014. Following this he completed his residency in Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at Tulane University in New Orleans, finishing in 2019. Dr. Barton is double-fellowship trained, having completed an advanced oncologic head and neck surgery fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as an advanced rhinology and endoscopic skull base surgery fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Barton actively participates in national and international meetings of the American Rhinological Society, North American Skull Base Society and the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery. Dr. Barton is dedicated to addressing medical needs of his patients while understanding individual concerns and goals. He has been practicing at Ochsner since 2021. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring New Orleans with his wife, son and daughter.
