Brandy Panunti, MD, specializes in endocrinology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Panunti earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine Washington, D.C., in 1999. She completed her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship in endocrinology at Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans. Dr. Panunti joined Ochsner Clinic Foundation in 2006 and became System Chair of Endocrinology in 2018. She has held many leadership roles at Ochsner including Clerkship Director for Medical Specialties, Clerkship Director for Endocrinology, and Program Director for the Ochsner Endocrinology Fellowship. She received the Teacher of the Year Award in 2011 and remains active in medical education. She practices at the Ochsner Medical Center New Orleans on Jefferson Highway. Dr. Panunti is board-certified in internal medicine and endocrinology, is certified by the International Society for Clinical Densitometry and holds memberships in the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and the Endocrine Society.
