Biography

Dr. Carol Meyer is a hand surgeon at Ochsner Medical Center. She received her medical degree from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine in Little Rock and completed her residency at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans. She completed her fellowship in hand and upper extremity orthopedics at University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Meyer is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in orthopedics and hand surgery. She is an associate professor and enjoys educating residents and fellows. She has been in practice in Metairie since 2013 and has been on staff at Ochsner since October 2020.
