Biography

Courtney Lyn Shappley, DO, joined the faculty at the Ochsner Medical Center as a pulmonary disease specialist. She earned her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2011. After graduation, she completed her residency and internship in internal medicine at the University of South Alabama. Dr. Shappley received fellowship training in pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine from Tulane University in New Orleans. She is board-certified in critical care medicine, pulmonary diseases and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
