Biography
Dr. Eissa earned his medical degree from Cairo University in Egypt. He completed his internal medicine residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina, and his physical medicine & rehabilitation residency at Emory University Center for Rehabilitation Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Eissa is board certified in physical medicine and pain medicine. He has been on staff at Ochsner since 1998. Dr. Eissa's expertise is in the area of musculoskeletal medicine and pain management, and his special medical interests include spinal and joint interventional pain management and vertebral augmentation (kyphoplasty).
