Biography
Dr. Orejarena earned his medical degree from the Universidad Militar Nueva Granada in Bogota, Colombia. He completed his internship and residency at the Marshfield Clinic in Marshfield, Wisconsin, and completed his Cardiology fellowship at Ochsner. Dr. Orejarena is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, and practices at Ochsner Health Center - Covington. His professional interests include coronary artery disease and congestive heart failure, and peripheral vascular disease. He has an interest in device therapy for cardiac dysfunction ( including cardiac resynchronization), pacemakers and defibrillators.
