Biography

Linda McElveen, MD, is a primary care (internal medicine) doctor with Ochsner Health. She received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers College in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Ochsner Clinic Foundation. Dr. McElveen practiced internal medicine as a primary care and hospital-based physician for over 20 years in Slidell, Louisiana. In 2020, she joined Ochsner's Concierge Health team to use her health and wellness expertise to help patients take a prevention-based approach to maximize their well-being. In her spare time, Dr. McElveen enjoys spending time with her family.
