Biography

Dr. Muner Mohamed received his undergraduate degree and medical degree from Omar Al-Mukhtar University Faculty of Medicine in Libya. Following medical school, he completed his residency at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island. Dr. Mohamed completed his fellowship in nephrology (kidney disease) at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, in Brooklyn, New York. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Nephrology and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2020. Dr. Mohamed's expertise is in general nephrology. In his spare time, Dr. Mohamed likes to exercise, ride horses and spend time with his family.
