Dr. Sunni Primeaux practices psychology at Ochsner Health. She is a Louisiana native who completed her undergraduate training at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Southern Illinois University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship as well as her post-doctoral fellowship at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) in New Orleans. Dr. Primeaux is the co-training director of the Ochsner Psychology Doctoral Internship program. She primarily sees patients within the BEBP Clinic (Brief Evidence-Based Psychotherapy), which specializes in offering short-term manualized treatments. Dr. Primeaux provides individual and group therapy for adults relating to stress, depression, anxiety, insomnia and other medical-related issues. Additionally, she conducts non-forensic psychological evaluations including pre-surgical assessments and adult ADHD assessments. At this time, Dr. Primeaux only accepts internal referrals.
