Biography

Victor Echenique, MD, is a cardiologist at Ochsner Health and has been on staff since July 2020. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Board of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Echenique received his medical degree from Universidad Central Del Caribe in Bayamn, Puerto Rico in 1981 and completed his internship and residency at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Tulane University School of Medicine.
