Ochsner Health Center for Children – Baton Rouge is a pediatric clinic located inside Ochsner Medical Complex – The Grove. I suffer from for spinal degenerative disease, because of a back surgery along with a car accident that messed my back right back up, the imaging technicians were extremely understanding and helpful, I can't remember their names but they were the young ladies that were working at around 2:40 on September the 24th, 2025. Whoever is the manager here please give those ladies a raise, we were able to talk to them, they understood my needs and they were more than willing to accommodate me knowing how serious my back is at risk I couldn't recommend them highly enough. I went in there for a CT scan, they made sure I had the proper supports so would not be in danger which was a big relief, mostly because I had to spend a small amount of time and a wheelchair and it didn't look like I was going to be able to walk for very long at all. I had to switch between a wheelchair and a cane, and for the most part it was looking like I be permanently in that wheelchair because of extreme chronic pain whenever I would try to walk I just couldn't bear it even with the cane. Through a lot of work though I am finally able to manage with my cane just fine and I look forward to the day I can finally not use it at all. I have to be extremely careful with my back because one wrong move and I'm going to be in that wheelchair for good, I can't afford even the slightest wrist to reinjure it again. I however do not recommend "Baton Rouge Imaging Center" at all. Especially the technician "Gary" he was one of the reasons I had to use the wheelchair for a while, I would stay far away from that imaging center "in my opinion" they didn't care about my health hey just care about meeting a quota in my opinion. I was going to go in there for a scan my needs were not met, My back got reinjured because he refused to get me proper back support, he was extremely unprofessional and pushy and ignored my pleas to let me out of the machine and give me real support because of building pain, My bones and my muscle got really inflamed and were spasmine harshly when I was trying to be polite the entire time with that wretched man, I had to basically stop being professional and demand that I needed out of that machine so I could stretch. Then he demanded that I would get on the table to finish the scan and I told him I needed to reschedule, he knew of my back troubles and he completely ignored it, and we had an annoying back and forth where he was raising his voice at me even though I was an intense pain I stayed professional, The only words I ever spoke to him as he was throwing a tantrum were " I want to reschedule thank you for your time." I felt so sorry for his assistant The poor definitely looked embarrassed and she didn't know what to do with the situation when her so-called boss was acting like a spoiled brat who obviously needed a spanking when he was a child. Then he would go to my mother when I was retrieving my items and tried to convince her to finish the test and he even said something about the clinic not getting paid unless both of the scans were completed Even though my back was spasmine and we later found out that it was completely reinjured working with my other doctors. I am 35 I am an adult, and for Gary to run to my mother like I'm a unreasonable child is insulting especially when he was throwing a tantrum and raising his voice at me. Gary's unprofessionalism sit me back for about 2 years and I'm just now starting to get better. we will be legally dealing with "Bluebonnet Imaging Center" in some capacity ,but if you want a real facility that will give you what you need to protect your back please go to ochsner at The Grove call them before your scan I know they'll work with you. I actually had carpal tunnel surgery on both My left and right wrist here as well. They became severely inflamed because I was walking around with a cane all the time as a result of what happened at "BRIC". But thank God for Dr. Tyson Garon, perform that surgery and help me out of a lot of pain, My left hand is healing nicely, and my right one barely has a scar.

Dr. Sharnette Miles is awesomeness. Great personality, listen to her patients, and trustworthy to have as a doctor. I recommend her if you need a Podiatry. You will not be disappointed. I just scheduled my mom to see her. Thanks Ochsner!!!

I have had a complete hysterectomy and a colonoscopy at The Grove and each experience was seamless and pleasant. The facilities are nice and the staff from pre-op, check-in through check-out are exceptional! Every single person you come in contact with! There is a calming energy from the time you are greeted throughout the entire procedure. A call from The Grove this morning checking on me from my procedure prompted me to write this review. My first choice would be The Grove every time! I hope this helps others in choosing a facility to have their medical procedures. I never knew about The Grove but so glad I chose them randomly.

I am happy with the care but upset with how the scheduling is handled here. Scheduled a tongue and lip tie removal for my 3 month old. The scheduling team told us her procedure would be at 9:00, and it would take less than 10 minutes, and she would need to feed immediately afterwards, so plan her feeding schedule accordingly. We did so, waking up early (we live in New Orleans), and getting her on a schedule to accommodate the hospital’s request. We arrived before 9:00. And waited. And waited. She should have fed at 9:30, but they didn’t call us back until 10:00. So then we had to feed and delay the surgery even more. I asked what the hour delay was from, and they said they tell all the babies to come at 9:00 and then they call us back in order of age, and ours was the oldest, so we got called last…Then why didn’t we get a call on Friday telling us that the procedure would be later than 9:00? We would have done things differently. They told us to make sure she would be hungry because it is important that she eat immediately after the surgery. But now because of the scheduling snaffoo, she won’t be hungry until at least 2 hours afterwards. Again, I am happy with the team who cared for her. But the scheduling procedure should be updated. If people are going to be staggered, you should tell them beforehand. There’s no point in telling everyone to get their baby on a feeding schedule based on a 9:00 time if they are going to stagger everyone over an hour anyways.

Arrived on time with a 3 year old only to be left waiting in the waiting room for an hour before being called back was fun. 3 year Olds wake up hungry and thirsty so asking them to obstain from both and then making them wait for an hour is cruel. I'm over Dr's offices making patients wait an 30+ minutes. I was on time, why can't the establishment be?
