At Ochsner, we understand the different nature of the healthcare
needs of women. Ochsner Women’s Health Center - Raceland is a full-service
obstetrical and gynecological facility. Our physicians and nurses provide
unique care and do so with sensitivity, all while taking the time to listen to
your individual concerns and needs. From delivering the newest member of your
family to assisting with health concerns at various stages in life, Ochsner is with you at every step.
Ochsner Women's Health Center - Raceland provides a broad range
of services that meet the specific needs of women. Included are the latest in
gynecological surgeries and treatments such as Laparoscopic Hysterectomy,
ESSURE (non-incisional sterilization), evaluation and treatment of urinary
incontinence, pelvic floor prolapse and abnormal menstrual cycles. We also
offer in-house Bone Mineral Density testing for concerns with osteoporosis and
ultrasounds for obstetrical patients.
In addition to the above services, Ochsner Women's Health Center
- Raceland offers annual wellness exams, evaluation and treatment of hormonal
disorders and contraceptive consulting as well as assisting women with issues
centering around infertility.
