Pediatric Colorectal Clinic

Our interdisciplinary approach allows patients to receive a high-level of coordinated care by our highly trained specialists. Our team of pediatric gastroenterologists, pediatric surgeons, pelvic health physical therapists, and pediatric psychologists evaluate and treat pediatric patients with a variety of conditions, which include anorectal malformations, Hirschsprung’s disease, fecal incontinence and refractory constipation.

Our program provides a life-long support and care for children with colorectal conditions. Our physical therapists are highly trained and specialize in pelvic floor therapy. When children and adolescents experience colorectal issues, there are often behavioral and emotional components that impact treatment. Our pediatric psychology services help patients and their families identify the behavioral and/or emotional aspects of care that can help with the overall management of the medical problem. Our goal is to ensure that your child has a high-quality of life filled with enjoyment.

Our team treats an array of conditions, which include:

• Refractory constipation

With our patient needs in mind, our team can collaborate to develop an individualized bowel management program. We also offer a few procedures, which include:

• Anal Botox
• Anorectal manometry
• SEMG biofeedback for pelvic muscle training

Our care team works together to create a personalized and individualized plan for each of our patients. Our team consists of pediatric gastroenterologists, pediatric surgeons and physical therapists.
